Baraka Training & Managements - Code
of Practice
We
maintain a high level of ethics and professional service.
In return for the trust that clients place in us, the Principal and
Associates of Baraka Training and Management Pty Ltd accept the obligation to
conduct our practice in ways that best serve the interests of our clients.
These standards are presented to give clients a basis for confidence that
we will serve them in accordance with professional standards of
competence,
objectivity and integrity. As part
of our partnership with the client, we adhere to the following standards.
-
We
recognise that our role as consultants requires objectivity, independence and
integrity. We assume responsibility
for seeing that clients benefit from services delivered. We do not measure our success by fee revenue
-
We
deliver only those services that we are qualified to undertake.
We assign only those consultants who are competent to give effective
service in solving the particular problem and/or addressing the issues involved.
-
We ensure
that the client understands the objectives and scope of services and the costs
before they are delivered. This
information is confirmed and subsequent significant changes are discussed with
and agreed to by the client in writing. When
it is difficult or impossible to give a reasonable estimate of the total fee
before any work is started, we will provide a quote for the first stage of the
work.
-
We
decline to undertake reviews where the client's only purpose is to use our name
or our status as consultants to lend weight to decisions already made, or where
our freedom of independent analysis and recommendation is restricted.
-
We
carefully evaluate the quality of our work.
These evaluations are used to continuously improve the quality of
service.
-
Any fees
charged are reasonable and appropriate to the character of the work and the
responsibility assumed. We believe
it is our responsibility to see that overall benefits accrue to clients as a
result of these services.
-
We hold
in confidence all information gathered during the course of our professional
relationship.
-
We
refrain from serving concurrently two or more clients who are deemed to be
competitors in areas of vital interest without informing each client.
-
We
disclose to our client any relationships, circumstances or interests that might
prejudice our objectivity.
-
We will
not, without permission, use proprietary materials which others have developed.
-
We
provide for ongoing training and development to keep us abreast of the latest
thinking and advances in the fields in which we practice.
-
We
maintain open and honest communication with the client, keeping the client
informed of any significant changes affecting service delivery.
