Baraka --- The Point Of Difference

Baraka Training & Management have been providing exceptional professional development services in the Central Queensland Region for nearly 10 years.  Peter Reilly BSSc FAIM (Principal Consultant and Facilitator) has the ability to interweave interesting and inspiring facets of his professional and personal life experience into the delivery of the training content.

The application of theory into practice is often a difficult 'ask' and with the personal sharing of experiences and success, Peter is able to make this transition for participants achievable.

Baraka Training and Management can offer many and varied options in meeting the professional and personal development needs of your organisation.   A range of recently revised workshops provide instruction in areas such as (but not limited to) Leadership, Time Management and Communication.  We can build on these products and customise material to meet your learning objectives resulting in the design of a product which is site specific.

Kate Reilly has a background in Management within Queensland Health and has been an integral part of Baraka Training & Management since its inception.  Together, Peter and Kate compliment each other and bring a wide variety of skills and experience to the solutions they offer their clients.

To impart one's knowledge to others is considered a privilege and this applies to both Peter and Kate, not only in the Professional Environment, but also in their personal sphere.  Both share a passion for Martial Arts and the philosophy of Budo which is evident in the Karate School they have established and successfully run over the last three years.

Budo (martial ways) impacts positively on all aspects of your life.  Through regular practice you will develop a sense of harmony with the world around you, the awareness to foresee difficulties and the concentration and composure to deal with them.  You will manage your relationships with greater understanding and respect for yourself and others.  The teachings of Budo can be directly applied in the professional and work environments as well as in the home and personal environments.

The underpinning philosophies of Budo correlate to the following attributes of excellent managers, leaders, coaches, mentors and all facets of your personal life:

  •  Self-confidence

  •  Composure

  •  Concentration

  •  Perseverance

  •  Resilience

  •  Fitness

  •  Co-ordination

  •  Flexibility

  •  Friendships
